The Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 requires that doors and gates with access into pool areas must be self closing and self latching. Swish Hinged Door Closers and Safety Latches can be installed into most commercial and residential door profiles. Swish uses superior quality hydraulic systems to ensure closing and latching from all open angles -- including from an opening of 150mm. Systems are complete with backcheck mechanisms to resist (eg:) wind gusts or door throw-back, slamming the door and causing frame or building damage.
A: Swish Safety Latches are operable from both sides of the door, at or above 1500mm from floor level to comply with regulations.
